Statement by William J. Burns on the Passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein – the first woman to chair the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the longest-tenured female Senator in history. Her long legacy of public service will serve as an inspiration to her colleagues, her constituents, and this Agency for a long time to come. We offer our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
