Career Development Officer - OGC

Work Schedule: Full Time
Salary: $110,000 - $160,000
Location: Washington, DC metropolitan area

CIA's Office of General Counsel (OGC) seeks experienced career development professionals for a new Career Development Officer within OGC. The OGC Career Development Officer provides career development guidance, counseling, and career mapping for OGC attorneys and paralegals. This includes leveraging internal and external resources to maintain and expand OGC'S mentoring program, recruitment and hiring program, and training program. The OGC Career Development Officer supports OGC management by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies. This officer is supported and strongly encouraged to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • JD with three years of practical experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience regarding hiring, human resources management, performance management, and career development for legal professionals

OGC requires the submission as attachments of a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, legal writing sample, and the names and telephone numbers of three legal references.
