The Central Intelligence Agency is seeking to hire an ASCP certified Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician on a part-time basis in the Washington, D.C. area. The duties include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, operating various chemistry and hematology instruments, and performing a variety of manual test procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: Individuals must have at least three years of laboratory experience, a service oriented attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the desire to work in a small laboratory environment. Candidates must also be United States citizens with the personal integrity to successfully complete medical and security processing, including a polygraph interview and background investigation. Compensation for a 32 hour week will depend on experience.
To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
