Are you seeking an exciting and challenging career in the security field? Technical Security Officers are responsible for the configuration, design, deployment and maintenance of a variety of security systems in unique and exciting environments. Regular domestic and overseas travel is required. Experience installing and/or integrating technical security equipment, to include intrusion detection, access control, video, and CCTV is preferred.
Minimum requirements: These positions require a five year contract-term employment agreement. Contract Term Agreement. Applicants must have a formal degree in either electronics or Information Technology (IT). In lieu of a degree, a certificate or completion for equivalent military or commercial recognized electronics or IT schools or training programs, or comprehensive work experience, will be accepted. Working knowledge and/or experience with safe repair, safe locks, electricity, alarms and with IT based security integration equipment are ideal.
All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.
To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
