Ever wonder if you have what it takes to work for the CIA? Truth is, we hire all kinds of people from different backgrounds and with varying skill sets and levels of education. However, there are a few common traits in those people we find best suited for our mission of protecting America. Take this brief quiz and see how you match up to just a few of the many qualifications we look for in new hires. And don't worry, there are really no wrong answers. In fact, this is just a fun, informative exercise, not a true career measurement tool.

Are you on the right track for a career at CIA?

  1. Are you interested in being at the top of your respective field?

  2. Is serving your nation and making a difference in the world important to you?

  3. Are you an exceptional communicator, verbally and in writing?

  4. Do you have an excellent academic record?

  5. Do honesty, high standards, and personal ethics mean more to you than wealth and recognition?

If you have answered "no" to question number 4:

If your grades aren't among the best in your class, keep working at it and we'll meet with you when you're ready. While we hire graduates from all majors, there is especially a need for individuals with technology, foreign language, or analytical skills.

Once you meet the GPA requirements, please be sure to check back with us.
