This is a final response to your 30 December 2005 letter to the CIA's
Office of the Inspector General, which was forwarded to the office of the
Information and Privacy Coordinator for response. You requested a complete
list of audit reports prepared by the Office of Inspector General during the
years 2004 and 2005. We processed your request in accordance with the
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. ? 552, as amended, and the CIA
Information Act, 50 U.S.C. ? 431. Our processing included a search for records
as described in our 26 January 2006 acceptance letter existing through the
date of that letter.
We completed a thorough search for records responsive to your request,
located material, and determined the enclosed item can be released in
segregable form with deletions made on the basis of FOIA exemptions (b)(1)
and (b)(3).
You have the right to appeal these decisions by addressing your appeal
to the Agency Release Panel within 45 days from the date of this letter, in my
care. Should you choose to do this, please explain the basis of your appeal.
Please note that no fees have been assessed as the search time and
reproduction costs did not exceed that which is furnished free as explained in
our acceptance letter.
