This is a final response to your 23 June 2007 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
request, received 2 July 2007, for a copy of the recently released material concerning the
"Family Jewels." You write that the Assassination Archives and Reference Center
"requests a waiver of copying fees for these records." We have assigned your request the

On 26 June 2007, the collection widely known as the "Family Jewels" was made
available in the CIA's FOIA Electronic Reading Room. Since you have indicated that you
do not want to pay copying fees, we recommend that you visit our Internet site,
www.foia.cia.gov, which offers instant access to, as well as printing of, the documents of
your choice free of charge.
