U N t 1 U N1 I L 3. kel' On the basis of the review of its inactive records, the Directorate of Operations believes there is no unidentified drug project buried in its archives. There may, however, be a few miscellaneous papers referring to drug testing projects which will be turned up in the files of the Office of the DDO. In the case of active records, the Directorate believes that the searches made by DO div.isions and staffs have uncovered all files on the drug testing 2rogram. There may, however, be a few documents in operations files which pertain to the topic. Such documents would not be found however without a document-by-document review of the files; about 33,000 cubic feet. Such a massive effort could be expected to uncover little that has not already been dis- covered through previous searches. 4. fee As a footnote to this memorandum, at the request 'of the DDA the information Management Staff is presently searching DO records for information pertaining to Opersons known to have. - been involved in MKULTRA research.
