MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Synopsis of Interview with , Special
Agent FBN, San Francisco
1. 41111111111111. was stationed in San Francisco from 1956 to
1960. He knows of and visited all three safehouses. He used the
Chestnut Street safehouse for FBN narcotic cases and attended
parties there. He knew of the "back room" at Chestnut St. and had
done technical work there4111111 was formerly a CIA audio surveillance
specialist). He does not remember a two way mirror. If one had
been there and useful he believes he would have remembered it. He
described the "pad" as, an arty place which appeared to have been
lifted out of Greenwich Village.
2. When he first heard of the drug allegations he did not
believe them. He is still skeptical of the allegations. He does
not believe White was inclined to the use of drugs but thinks Feldman
might have been. He knows of no use of the safehouses by prostitutes.
3. The diary extract was reviewed and most of41111111 comments
