I don't know exactly where that chapter will be in the production process early next week. I'm in town part of
monday, but away tues. and weds. Why don't we both track this -- you on Mr. More11's schedule, and me on the
Random House process and we'll reconvene. Did he get back to you Friday on the specifics on those pages?

Consulted higher authority and, as I suspected, there's great resistance to having the chapter out of our hands.
But I'd be happy to meet up with Michael and you at the end of this week or over the weekend with a copy of
the proofs, and we can go through it. Just let me know what works for him.
