We handled several outside requests during this
interval. CRD, came in to request the
Office of Finance History, After pinpointing her inter-
est related to an FOIA re uest for records of finan-
cial payments in
1948-49 -- I located two pages bearing on that topic and
provided her with a copy of them.
serviced one more request for a photograph
from the PPD collection. There has been no progress in
the mutual efforts of our two offices to get the collec-
tion transferred back.
We also received a query from OGC as to whether we
wanted their collection of materials related to the
abortive 1979-1981 effort to draft a new intelligence
charter. Our suggestion that OGC keep these materials
and send them to Records Center under their own account
appears to have been accepted.
Ken closed out his recruitment project, returning
all materials and writing rejection letters. He also
handled correspondence related to a new Center of Mili-
tary History request for one of their historians to have
access to CIA material at the Johnson Library.
