Here, as promised, is the transcript of our conversation
several weeks ago concerning Richard Helms and Congress. In
going over the transcript I was pleased by the amount of
information it contains which will be helpful for our project.
A good portion of this is material that will not show up in the
written records that have been retained by the Agency. As a
consequence, your willingness to share your recollections with
us is all the more appreciated.
