Ken has spent much of his time on the issue of OSS documents and
their release to the National Archives. He has met with Archives
officials and with a number of Agency people from Information
Management, Records Management, and OGC. He has additional meetings
scheduled through early next week, after which he will prepare a
report. Ken has also received a phone call from an external
researcher in this field, Paul Rosa, and a follow-up letter from Rosa
confirming the telecon.
Ken spoke at the National War College on 8 September on Admiral
Mahan.
No new oral history interviews have been conducted, but the
transcripts 0 and Ken's interviews with John Warner were
checked out with him.
began her annual leave today and is due back on 11
October. Most of the time she will be traveling in Germany. Before
departing, she attended a one-day Records Management Course and'
conducted a classification tabulation project for DDA/IMS/RMD. Our
tabulation was negative -- we did i iate any classified material
during the period of the project. also conducted a concerted
effort to get back overdue histories ou on loan; three have been
returned and two are still out, including the McCone study loaned to,
the DCI.

New WANG dual-feed printers have been installed, replacing the old
single-sheet ones. A delegation was here yesterday to check the
wiring blueprints for the rest of our terminals.
