The Board of Studies has accepted
for publication in the fall number of Studies
DDI/OGI consulted Ken about military
historians who might be hired to staff his section on
insurgency studies, and about methods of training his staff to
do historical case studies.
We authorized access to CIA documents at the Lyndon B.
Johnson Library for four researchers from the Office of the
Historian at State.
jcontinued her work entering our Records Center
holdings into the Agency's computerized record management
system.
who continues her work on DDO documents, was on
leave the week of 18-23 July.
The Agency Top Secret Control Officer wrote that
deserve recognition for their efforts in accounting for
our 356 Top Secret collateral documents in the 1983 inventory
just completed. The audit team reported that the History Staff
maintains satisfactory control, and made no recommendations for
improvement of its program.
