Dear Mr. Angleton:
We on the History Staff are beginning to wind up our pre-
liminary draft of the Richard Helms history. In this regard I
would find it most helpful if I could have another hour or two
with you sometime between now and the end of the year. Specif-
ically, I need some guidance on certain matters pertaining to
during the Helms years.
I dare impose further on your good nature in this fashion
because your assistance last summer has proved so invaluable to
our efforts.
If you are still interested in reviewing the transcript of
our session this summer, I could bring that out with me when we
get together. I also want to return the copy of Pete Bagley's
testimony which you loaned me.
Suppose I give you a call toward the end of this week to
see if you would be able to meet with me once more.
