Historian position we adver sed last ember. He submitted a
respectable body of writing and we found him
intelligent, articulate and personable when we interviewed him. He did
not, however, make our short list of candidates for the job.
3. As with a number of other candidates who weren't selected, I
offered to forward his file to you for consideration for possible jobs
elsewhere in the Agency. He has accepted the offer, and I'll attach his
