Assistance in Perecording Historic Tapes
1 . I wish to express my appreciation for the assistance rendered
by and his Operations Support Branch in my current
effort to update the DDS&T History.
?.. In early December I obtained several quarter-inch tapes on
five-inch reels made of speeches and roundtable discussions with
several deputy directors concerning scientific and technological
developments. Before typescripts could be made of these recordings,
it was necessary to have them transferred to cassettes that would work
on our transcribing machines. very graciously agreed to do this
transcribing for us.
