[Text] Tripoli, 28 Jan (JANA) - The brother commander of the
revolution has sent a cable to Yoweri Museveni, commander of
the National Resistance Army in Uganda, in reply to the cable
Museveni sent him:
Brother Yoweri Museveni, commander of the National Resis-
tance Army, Kampala, Uganda: I congratulate you in the name
of our common struggle and the sacrifices which the Libyan Arab
people have offered to Uganda and the joint blood which
drenched its land and will not be shed in vain.
The triumph of the National Resistance Army under your com-
mand has affirmed the seriousness of our alliance, that the battle
you have waged for Uganda since 1977 has finally been crowned
with victory, and the fascist usurpers have finally been crushed;
those who laughed much have cried last.
On this great day we ask for the blessing of the martyrs of both
peoples and we bless the land of Uganda that has been drenched

victory.
This is a historic hour when the Ugandan people may assume
authority and possess wealth and arms and thus block the road
once and for all in the face of the forces of foreign exploitation,
domination, and oppression.
Forward.and the revolutionary struggle shall continue for the
liberation and unity of Africa!

the revolution did not send a message to the Italian prime
minister including an undertaking to make efforts among Arab
states and the Palestinians in return for America refraining from
attacking-the Jamahiriyah. This contradicts the contents of the
report which some quarters tried to propagate.

[Text] Vienna, Jan 28 (KUNA) - The Libyan Embassy in
Vienna Tuesday categorically denied any involvement of Libya
in alleged Austrian weapons deals with Iran.
