of Alabama Alumni Association is hosting a recept-
ion and dinner on March 16 at the Embassy of the
Federal Republic of Germany in honor of Senator
John Sparkman who recently announced his intention
to retire from the Senate after 42 years of dis-
tinguished service in the Congress of the United
States.
