Dear John,
Pat and I want to say thanks for your and Thelma's gracious
hospitality during the Business Council meeting. Most of all we
enjoyed the treat of getting to visit with you both, and we do
appreciate all of your interest in our activities there.
By and far this was the most enjoyable Council meeting I
have had the privilege of attending. Perhaps it is because it
is the only one I've been able to attend from beginning to end.
I will screw up my determination to get away from the office for
the full schedule in the future.
Pat and I are also very grateful to you for the use of one
of your station wagons which we used to drive back to Washington
in the midst of the rain and fog on Saturday afternoon. It was
a big help.
I do hope you will let me know, as you mentioned, when you
can take an hour off to come out to the CIA during one of your
trips to Washington. I'd really enjoy getting just a few of us
together to compare notes.
