lunch with the Superintendent and a few faculty members, i.e., Sup., Jack
Note 2: Pat Parker would prefer to keep this group small and would invite
Geoff to sit in with the senior group.I mentioned as an alternative having
an hour with the senior group He didn't seem too keen on this, felt more
than hour was required. Note 3: Lunch was just a thought on his part. You might want to consider

2. Re your address Wednesday, 1 February, to the combined
Houston Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and Navy League (sponsored
by the Houston Men's Forum), they have advised me "women are not
generally invited," and they don't anticipate any women being present.
In a situation like this I usually query to a point that I think
Mrs. T. would be uncomfortable. I think she would be at this
luncheon address as well as the address the night before. I've
talked to her about both of these and hope that the alternatives
we've talked about are satisfactory. As for the other addresses on
the trip, the Young President's group includes wives and the audience .-
will be. 2200 or so. At Stanford, I've asked them to reserve 10-12 Bats
for your wife and guests.
