The setting was ideal, the company was hand
picked, and a great time was had by all. We all
owe, Norm Chew and his faithful asst. Judy
Hartbeck a deep vote of thanks. The first day was
devoted to the serious business - a golf tourna-
ment, during which the course record was
threatened on several holes but finally emerged in-
tact.! The second day was devoted to an economic

undiminished with 49-ers. The following day was
devoted to elevating thoughts at the top of Pikes
Peak - a trip engineered by Page Townsley, who
is really more at home at sea. The last night was a
farewell dinner, and sad words of parting were ut-

The following were in attendance: Ken Kil-
carr; W. Cohan, P. McDonough, P. Townsley,
Bill Distler, Wilt Manewell, Dick Ashley, Bill
Schnabel, John Meyer, Bobby Lim, Spud
Dahlman, Norm Chew, and Will Bush. Many
came with wives - so it had 'the feel of wives

meeting, since everyone recounted their present
status and activity. Norm Chew did all this in
spite of recent surgery - though Colo. might be a
goody place to recover. Will Bush gave details of
his retirement and a planned address for next
moved: Bill Kelly sends word of a new address in
the least distance to come. Bobby Lim's do-
are previously reported, and he won the prize
`he farthest. Spud Dahlman reported on the
orted diminished activity in oil drilling, but ac-
sley, running the Transportation School.of-
western Univ., reports communications
ness not a place.
