Dear Charlie,
.I can't tell you how much I appreciate the
superlative support and hospitality you extended to
me and my staff during our stay at Whidbey.
Please extend my special thanks also to your
aide, Lieutenant Hunsucker; to Chief Yeoman Pace,
who did a fast and flawless job of transcribing my
notes; and especially to Lieutenant Commander Lynn
Wagner, who somehow was able to anticipate everyone's
needs and make the right decisions despite his own
grief. I know Mrs. Williams deeply appreciated his
untiring help, and I did too.
I wish you all. success in your command, and in
this New Year. My thanks again.
Yours,
RADM Charles B. Hunter, U.S. Navy
Commander
