NSC staff, of the information which had come to our attention about the
publication of an article in the Wall Street Journal
I also talked with Hoskinson about the suggestion I was making
to the Director for yet another alternative provision for the draft Executive
Order which would cover the subject of reports to the Congress.
24. LIAISON Called Millie Groobey,
State Department Congressional Relations staff, and informed her of
our planned briefing of Representative Ike Skelton (D,., Mo.) and a number
of other members of the House prior to their trip to Panama. She
appreciated my call.
