SUBJECT Federal Women's Program Board
1. I recently met with the CIA Federal Women's
Program Board and wish to express my support for their
efforts. I have asked the Board to continue to advise
the Director and me on issues concerning women. Women
comprise one-third of the Agency and it is important
that we are informed on policies which impact on them.
2. I appreciate your support in allowing your
representatives the time necessary to perform their Board
duties effectively. I believe this is time well spent
and is justifiable in working towards our common Agency
goals. May I suggest that you make my feelings known to
