Planning Committee on Intelli ence recently submitted
their findings. your organization
assisted the committee as an ex officio member and, as
you know, I have expressed my appreciation for his services
in separate correspondence.
I have attached a copy of the committee report as sub-
mitted to me. The report stresses a lack of appreciation
for and support of the research and development that the Air
Force might accomplish in the intelligence field. Although
the committee is considered an activity of the Air Force
and the Air Research and Development Command, I believe you
and your organization will find their report of great
interest.
