I have received your application of November 29, for a special land
use oermi t covering approximately 173,000 acres in Lincoln and Nye Cou1
fries, Nevada. Normally these er:ri is are limited in size to 5 acres aid
for immobile and on-site improvements. Since the activities required in.
v(I)T' use of the National Land Reserve are classified it appears that tTe
best interests of the cublic will he served by granting the necessary
aithori9,ation hy-the terms set forth in this letter.
Portions of the land aor-lied for in Mye County are under the admin-
istration of the Bureau's District Manager located at Battle Mountain,
Nevada. I have discussed your needs with him and his concurrence in this
matter is attested to below.

hereby authorized to locate and operate mobile instrumentation eauipment,
