H" 12 October 1972 STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE H-1O-3 This supersedes H-10-3 dated 23 July 1971 FIRE PLAN FOR NON-DUTY HOURS 1. PURPOSE: To set forth the plan of action to be taken by ,recur y assistants when a fire occurs in or around the hangar during non-duty hours. 2. SCOPE: Provisions apply to all security personnei who act in die capacity of Security Assistants. 3. RESPONSIBILITIES: Director of Security is responsible for insuring HerenceA6 the provisions of this SOP. Lt.. PROCEDURES : a. Generally the duties to be performed fall into four categories: Warning othe ~s . Obtaining help. Fighting the fire. Saving equipment. b. When a fire is discovered in the hangar, the following emergency actions will be taken: (1) Notify tower of the fire by means of the direct line telephone located on outside front of security guard booth 25X1X7 on hangar floor. Ask the tower operator to summon the fire Department to the Hangar. (2) Immediatelj inform the communicator in the Signal Center, who in turn will call the hostel to alert U.S. personnel and the Staff Duty Officer. If no comnunicator is on duty alert the SDO by radio. The Base Fire Department and members of the 25X1X7 will be admitted to the hangar to aid in fighting the fire and in removing equipment.
