SUBJECT: Deputy for Operations' Briefing Preparations
1. As noted in the 7 November 1969 Deputy for Operations staff
meeting, the Deputy for Operations will be briefing the new Assistant
Deputy Director for Science and Technology on 21 November 1969. As
a part of the preparation for this briefing, you are requested to provide
the following information concerning your staff functions and responsi-
bilities NLT 12 November 1969 for inclusion in subject briefing. Data
provided should be prepared for use on 5x8 briefing cards. SAS/O/OSA
will consolidate all data for the subject briefing.
a. Brief description of the functions and responsibilities
of your staff.
b. Brief descriptive outline of support provided by
your office for

your staff.
d. Any special notes of interest in your area of respon-
sibility that you feel should be included in subject orientation
briefing.
