MISSION: To execute this plan and insure its orderly completion. 2. GENERAL SITUATpN: Deploy 3 A-12120 personnel and equipment to Kadena AB, Okinawa and insure operational capability within 15 days after notification from Project Headquarters. 3. PROCEDURES: a. Upon notification of deployment, all sections will recall their personnel and comply with procedures outlined in the hourly countdown. (See Annex I). b. Operational control of each departing A-12 will be relinquished as it completes its final A/R enroute to 25X1 c. The following Operations personnel will deploy on Flight #4 and 3 D-21 1 DTFC and 1 - ADTFC. Additionally, the DCOM, during the period of deployment, will establish a complete mission support capability, as a part of the DTF. 2. qNERAL. SITUATION Upon notificatiOn of a deployment, the DOOM will alert all DOOM tersornel, and will select necessary personnel for deployment a$ part of the and the DTF. PROCEDURES: Prior to D-2: 25X1 (1) 4 film stripe based on 75% Worst Winds, will be prepared for the entire route from Kadena AB. Each film strip will be loaded during normal mission generation countdown. At the film strip 25X1 25X1 will merely be repositioned. This will el4minate the need for opening the nose hatch at for film strip loading. 25X1 25X1 (2) 8 sets of route map cards (4 each for ) will be prepared and annotated with fuel and other data, based on 75% Worst Winds. 25X1 map cards will be loaded during normal mission generation 25X1 countdown; : map cards will be tranapotted with the HST deployment for loading at During final pilot briefing prior to each departure, pilot will be advised of any major variations from the 75% Worst Wind Flight Plan (2,000 lbs fuel, $ minutes time) for proper annotation on the applicable nap cards. (3) Naximum allowable wind factors will be computed for each leg of the deployment route, considering effect on single engine capability from any point. Prior to each departure from current wind factors will be compared against maximum allowable, to insure that adequate fuel reserves and a safe single engine capability exists along the entire route. Current wind factors exceeding the maximum allowable, will necessitate delay of any departure. MISSION: To monitor; coordinate, and report all activities during the A-12 deployment from Kadena AB. To keep the Commander and staff advised of mission progress. 2. GENERAL SITUATION: Upon notification of an impending deployment, the Command Post will be secured and prepared for occupancy by the Oommander and staff. Coordination, reporting procedures, and personnel requirements will be evaluated and necessary steps taken to insure 24 hour operation; if required, for the duration of the deployment. 25X1 3, PROCEDURES: Area of responsibility during deployment is broken into route segments. From takeoff through final air refueling enroute through final air refueling beyond enroute to Kadena AB. DTFC: From Final air refueling to 25X1 destination. 25X1 a. (2) Coordinate, monitor, and record all activities pertaining to the mission. (3) Advise the Commander, DCO, or Mission Coordinator of all mission changes and requirements. (4) Maintain adequate radio and telephone communications. (5) Flight follow mission as required. (6) Coordinate mission departure and arrival with interested agenc s.
