MWORLNDUM OF AGRP NT
It is agreed that :
1, Functions heretofore performed by the Map Division, Graphics
Register, OGD, are transferred to the Map Library Division,
Map Branch,, ORE.
2. The Map Library Division, Map Branch, ORE, will henceforth
perform the following functions in addition to those heretofore
assigned:
as Codify essential information on foreign maps of
intelligence value held by governmental and non-
governmental institutions in the U.S., to the end
that a machine index of such information may be created
and made available to governmental agencies, Codified
data will be transmitted to OCD in form acceptable to
the Machine Methods Branch, OCD, for punching and
tabulatingo
be Service all authorized requests for foreign maps and
foreign map information,
3. The Machine Methods Branch, OCD, will:
g. Punch IBM cards reflecting the codified map information
received from Map Library Division.
be Maintain punch card files for a machine index of map
information.

c. Prepare machine listings of map information in response
to authorized requests for such data.
Personnel requirements to implement this agreement will be worked
out by ORE, 0CD and A&M.
