To provide instruction in the several activities charged to the Office of Special Operations and to the Office of Policy Coordination in order to qualify staff personnel in the planning, organization, conduct and admir?is ation of,these activities both in the field and in headquarters and to train ent personnel for their specific assignments. 2. Ma or Functions. a. Ascertain the training requirements of OSO and OPC. (J. Organize, supervise and administer adequate training programs, staffs and facilities within the United States to fulfill the training requirements of OSO and OPC. Included in this requirement area (1) Training of OSO and OPC staff personnel. (2) Training of 030 and OPC agent personnel. (3) Training of OSO and OPC foreign national agent personnel in the United States. c, Provide assistance and technical staff supervision to training conducted in overseas areas, d. Insure that the training of each individual is consistent with th cover and security of his proposed assignment as established by his rsf d division s' w. k e, Arrange and schedule with outside government and private agencies such other training as may be required. f. Provide training evaluations of student personnel for assist- ance to their sponsoring branches in determining assignments, g. Conduct such liasion within 080, OPC and the remainder of CIA, other outside agencies as may be requited to Provide a fully co- nated training program, h. Conduct applied research on training content and method.
