Submitted herewith is the report for the weak ending 26 March 1953:

1. I have net two or three times this week with members of the
TRS staff planning the BIC (CS) on problems of scheduling. The program
for the course beginning 6 April is nearly ready, and our staff is
prepared to beadle a large proportion of the instruction during the
first eight days. We are also assisting the T US staff members in ob-
taining sample aerials which they plan to use in their "County Fair"
session. This will be an exhibition, with explanation, of various
kinds of intelligence reports and documents.
2. Dive Reading Improvement Brancrh, research on the foreign
lames developmental course is progressing more slowly than expected
boom" of the large volume of eurrent training. By 1 May, however,
and her staff will have sufficient data to determine
the degree of transfer from Rngligb reading training to French and
Italian. A small volunteer group will than be trained in bench for
a comparison with Xoglish training. Since training of this type has
not been attempted before, it is believed essential to proceed slowly
while gaining experience.
