Weekly Report, 21 April through 25 April 1952

1. Submitted herewith is the weekly report for the Intelligence
School, Alcott Hall:
a. This week a schedule of student interviews with the
staff was set up to determine job preferences, the
value of the course to the students, and to aid the
staff in the problem of general, over-all evaluation,
(See attached schedule)
b. The students were handed an outline entitled "Outline
for Strategic Intelligence Digest and Estimate", to
be used as a guide for the trainees in working up a
national estimate for a specific country. The staff
chose twenty-three countries within the major world
regions and submitted them to the class so that each
trainee could select a country within his region.
Using all the previous current area analyses plus
any textual materials, each student will then present
orally his own estimate of the country chosen. These
presentations will take place during the 13th week--
May 12-16.
