Progress Report for the week 11 September - 17 September 1953
1. Part I of the Russian Central Asia Program at commences 25X1
Monday, September 21. The Agency will have 16 students pas C pa ing in
the program. will handle arrangements for registration of 25X1
attended the DDI/TLO meeting held September 16 and 25X1
plans to attend the DDA/ZLO meeting to be held 18 September.

be appreciably altered.
7. Approximately 46 students have been enrolled in internal language
instruction commencing 21 September 1953.

8.. During the past week, the language laboratory was used for a total
of 161 hours, 46 hours of which were outside the normal working day.
9. A total of 108 students are presently enrolled in self-study
