SUBJECT: Weekly Progress Report - 3-9 July 1953
1. The Chief of this Division was absent from the office
1, 2' and 3 July interviewing candidates for the JOT Program
in Chicago. While there he also discussed projected plans for
establishing three or four scheduled testing periods during
the coming fall and winter, and the possibility of concurrent
interviews. Opportunities for increasing speed of making de-
cisions and improving the processing of files were also
discussed. No decision has yet been made on any of those in-
terviewed because the scoring of tests has not been completed.
2. During the course of the week 13 interviews were held
in Chicago and 5 in Washington. Eight additional files have
been interviewed. No actions have been requested.
3. Junior Officers now enrolled in the 11th Basic
Intelligence Course are:
