Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2010/12/06: CIA-RDP57-00011 A001000070104-4 cow - o lb March 1956 AMXJM FOR s Project Director SUBJWT s Article #91 Destructor 1. During a telephone conversation with Mr. Johnson 13 March be stated that Article #9 could be made available for overseas shipment as 1 May 1956. It was his opinion that if it is not dsplaysd at that ti m more effort would be required to transport it at a later dats. In addition he feels that there would be sufficient articles available at toibtirtcsa to carry an tooting and training nissiase. It is nW rsco Won that we favorably consider Mr. Joh moo's suggestion and notify him accordingly. This should be aocamp3,isbed immediately since there are problems of support and personnel involved in this decision. 2. Mr. Jssin.on requested that I obtain information on the availability of a three or four pound destructor for the article. The only destructor available through his sources is a 17 pound charge which appears to be too lame for our purposes. I have taken notion through Col. Berg to obtain information on the airailabilitnr of charges in the 3-1+ pound category and have requested Col. Oi bbs to follas up on this r+eiquest.
