MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Training
SUBJECT: Employment of Retired Officers
1. In a meeting with the DDCI this date the Office
of Personnel was asked to canvass the major components
of the Agency to determine the current interest in employ-
ment of retired or retiring regular officers of the armed
services.
2. This Office is not aware that you have under
consideration any retired officers of the armed services
whose appointment would require the authority contained
in Public Law 53. We will appreciate confirmation of
this understanding at the earliest possible date.
