1. Progress Retort - Old Projects
None.
2. Items of Current Interest
Student comments on the last CAI have been received and
are being studied. They are, on the whole, quite favorable.
3. New Projects during Week
None.
4. Items of Administrative Interest
The impending reorganization of OSO/ has made it 25X1A
necessary to postpone the SIC and ADM from August to
11 August, in order that the guest speakers may be able to
present their material.

3. During the week staff conferences were held with the Chiefs
of Research and Validation, Training Evaluation and Assessment
to plan future activities.
4? The Acting Chief of A/E was visited by Colonel Baird at which
time the projected transfer of the T(G) group was discussed.
This action was implemented. by a conference called by Colonel
Baird in his office attended by the Acting Chief of A/E on

5. - from Personnel visited A/E requested and was
given tests which we had available and he did not. The
research behind this particular test was discussed with
him and plans were made for unofficial cooperation on
mutual professional prablems.
6. By direction of Colonel Baird at the suggestion of Dr.
Tietjen an appointment was made with )sychiatrist
with the Medical Division ostens ily to discuss assessment
procedures.
7. Test Administrator, Assessment Branch
submitted his resignation effective 1 August 1952.
8. A conference attended by the Acting Chief A/E, Chief,
Research and Validation with f OSO to discuss
possibilities of beginning fo ow p s u ies of assessment
results.
