SUBJECT: Long Term Schedule of CS Courses
1. The attached schedule of training courses is a revision
of, and supersedes, that issued under date of 16 April 1954. The
dates on the chart refer to Mondays of each training week; for a
specific course the weeks during which training will be conducted
is indicated by an "x" in the appropriate column.
2. Principal changes are:
a. Elimination of the overlapping of Phases II and III.
This should permit more orderly release of desk personnel
for requisite training in these courses;
b. Rescheduling of certain specialized courses to more
nearly approximate current requirements;
c. Establishment of a two-weeks advanced counterespionage
course (ACE) and an increase in the scheduled offering of
a basic CE course (now two weeks long instead of three
weeks).
3. Announcement of the new courses (or other
new courses), or major changes in the program T existing training
courses will be made by individual memoranda.
4. Any inquiry regarding the attached schedule should be
addressed through established channels to the OTR Registrar, Room
17, Buildin~extensions 2449 or 3026.
