Board, called to inquire about as a prospective 25X1

his status had been reviewed and was all right. I said that such an
official letter would not be consistent with Colonel Baird's present
recom,i.endation to the AD's that they consider 25X1
because of organizational changes and, therefore, e , qawyailable

him more harm than good. He seemed insistent on this point so I said
I was in no position to decide it one way or the other and would sug-
gest he talk wit I offered to arrange an appointment
for him on 10 July.
