SECURITY U UWr1ATION
Item from the Daily Log - 18 December 1952
On 11 October 1952 there was referred to this office a
registered letter addressed to the Director from one Titus
de Bobula requesting the intercession of this Agency in a
private matter between Mr. de Bobula and an employee of 25X1A
CIA, Miss arising from a transaction
with respec a rac o West Virginia land. We under-
took to investigate the matter and to date have discovered
nothinxreflecting discredit u n our employee. As far as
we are able to tell, Miss through her gratuitous 25X1A
actions, is involved with a 1 ious crank. We replied
to Mr. de Bobulats first letter stating that our investi-
gation showed a certain basic misunderstanding of a purely
private nature in which CIA. could not concern itself. Since
that time we have received several further letters from
Mr. de Bobula, in vein similar to the first, becoming pr-o-
gressiir ? more insulting to CIA. We have firmly informed
him that we wish to have nothing further to do with the
matter. The latest development is that Mr. de Bobula has
25X1A sued out a criminal complaint against Miss - and a 25X1A
Mr. not asp employee, who is also involved.
We un ern n at his complaint relates to the manner in
25X1A which title to the West Virginia land was acquired b
Miss We have put Miss in 25X1A
touch with counse , and have indicated our in help
where we reasonably can.
