I, the Acting Governor in Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on the
Governor in Council by section 3 of the Minimum Wage Law, 1911, do hereby
order as follows :--
1. This Order may be cited as the Minimum Wage (Shop and Office Employees)
Order, 1944.
2. As from the 1st day of December, 1914 the minimum rates of wages to I,(
paid generally in the Colony in respect of the categories of shop and office employees
mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall ho the rates mentioned in
the second column of such Schedule.

I, the Acting; Covornor in Council, in oterciso of the powers conferred on the
Governor by suction 6 of the Post. Office Laws, 1881 to 1933, do hereby order as
follQws :-
1. This Order may be cited as the Post Office (Air Mail Rate of Postage
No.,) Order, 1944.
2. here ,-,hall be charged a combined Postage and Air fee, in addition to late
and/o `-registration fees, at the rates set forth in the third and fourth columns
of the ,`ghodulo hereto, on letters, printed papers, commercial papers, samples,
small pad;;ets and postcards intended for transmission by air mail to any of the
countries 6fdestination enumerated in the first column of the said Schedule, such
transmission':to be effected-
(a) by aft. or surface route from the Colony to Egypt or Palestine ; and
(b) from R' pt or Paestine to the country of destination either wholly by air
or partJ1y by air and partially by surface route.
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st November, 1944 and
thereupon the p0,'X;_Of(ico (Air Mail Rate of Postage No. 2) Orders, 1944, shall
be revoked.
