THE SUMMER AFTERNOON RECESS LAW, 1938. ORDER IN COUNCIL No. 2081 MADE -UNDER SECTION 3. C. C. WOOLLEY, Governor. I, the Governor in Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Summer Afternoon Recess Law, 1938, do hereby order as follows :- 1. This Order may be cited as the Sucnm ?r Afternoon Recess Order, 1943. 2. Between the 1st day of June, and the .20th day of September in every year, both days inclusive, all places of business wiihin the municipal limits of the towns of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta. (including Varosha), Paphos and Kyrenia, and of the villages of Lefka, Lefkara, Lefkonko, Morphou, Kythrea and Polis, shall be closed and kept closed every clay of the week between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.: Provided that there shall be exempted. from the operation of this Order the following places of business :- (a) Aerodromes; (b) Bakeries ; (c) Clubs ; (d) Chemists and druggists shops er ,a on (e) Electric Power Stations ; (f) Hotels, inns, khans, restaurants, coot:sh.;'ps and caffss; (g) Ice factories ; , (h) Offices of agencies for the hire of mo;,,r cars; (i) Offices of shipping and travelling; agencies; (j) Premises occupied by medical pra-i ion'rs, dentists or advocates in connection with the exercise of their work or profession; (k) Public baths; (1) Telegraph and Telephone Offices; (m) Undertakers premises.
