With reference to the Arrangement concluded by an exchange of Notes
fioday for facilities for supplying the United States Armed Forces in Europe
across Italian territory, I have the honor to transmit as an Annex hereto
the English text of the provisions agreed upon in order to give effective exe..
oution to the aforementioned Arrangement.
It is agreed that the formalities and technical details not outlined
in the above-mentioned Notes of June 29, 1951, nor in the provisions of the
attached Annex, will be arranged between the representatives of the United
States Armed Foroes and the authorities whom Italy will indicate.
It is also agreed that if any questions relative to the interpretation
and execution of the aforementioned documents should arise between those
representatives, the questions will be resolved through diplomatic channals.
I have the honor to confirm that the present Note together with the
attached Annex, and Your Earoo11onoyes Note No. 22/1757 of June 29, 1951
