1. tar. Miller was in to see the undersigned on another matter
and queried bot and myself concerning the status of the
security clearances for him and advised
that he has left word with who will arrange an appro-
priate matting to execute secrecy agreements when the clearances are
obtained.

2. I asked qtr. Killer whether his company was still in agreemen'
that they could handle the problem of applicants for insurance who are
CIA employees on an oral basis whereby we would inform them that the
applicant was not presently assigned to hazardous duty. Re replied
that thsly were still in agreement, and the procedure proposed was that
he call sn each case. At a recent meeting, at which
and the undersigned were present, a similar
arrangaasent was made with Acacia Mutual but the procedure provided
for a cal]. to Mr. offi ce . No point was made at that meeting
in connection with secrecy agreements or security clearances.
3? Mr. Miller pointed out that due to his Foreign Service back-
grounds, a great deal of his work is done among state Department +em-
ployees.

heard reports from some of our people that the briefing furnished them,
prior to departure overseas, concerning 'WAXPA insurance was inadequate.
in some cases, the briefing amounted to a mention of availability of
WAEPA insurance and the place where application blanks could be
secured.
