In June 1951 1 talked with Larry 25X1A
about one Lieutenant who had been
in the iavy and said that he would, like employment
in CIA after he finished his active duty in the
Navy. He had a background of OSS having been one
of the men of 101. Un the 19th of June Larry wrote
me as follows: "Lieutenant came in 25X1A
to see me yesterday about possible employment here
after he finishes his active duty with the Navy.
In view of his OSS background and his thorough in-
vestigative experience of the last few years, I
should think he might be very useful, all other 25X1A
things being equal". has asked me to say a
word to you about him. If you think there is pos-
sible employment for him, would you please communicate
with him.
