Approved For Release 2001/08/28 : CIA-RDP57-00384R001300130049-3 STATINTL January 22, 1951 Gen. William J. Donovan Donovan, Leisure, Newton Lumbard & Irvine 2 Wall Street New York, N. Y. Dear General Donovan, I want to reiterate what I said to you this morning - that I am not trying to transfer from artillery to intelligence to land myself a desk job somewhere. I feel that I have qualifications which would be used tc better advantage in intelligence work than in artillery. I also feel that intelligence would be much more interesting for me, and that I would have something to offer it. At any rate, here is the information I promised you about my experience to date: At prep school C has u.~ti ~ vp' riy appraisea. a-Qd "hps Many, many thanks for your kindness in this matter. Sincerely, STATINTL Approved For Release 2001/08/28 : CIA-RDF57-00384R001300130049-3
