Dear General Donovan,
I want to reiterate what I said to you this morning - that I am not
trying to transfer from artillery to intelligence to land myself a desk
job somewhere. I feel that I have qualifications which would be used tc
better advantage in intelligence work than in artillery. I also feel
that intelligence would be much more interesting for me, and that I
would have something to offer it. At any rate, here is the information
I promised you about my experience to date:
At prep school C has u.~ti ~ vp' riy appraisea.

Many, many thanks for your kindness in this matter.
Sincerely,
STATINTL
