Colonel Mareydt, now in USAF Operational Training Unit whom C/OS had knovm came over for a talk 25X1 on the afternoon of 2 November. o one eydt provided C/QS with a very detailed description of the recent activities of the USAF Operational Unit of which he had been Commanding Officer and we proceeded to discuss our joint interest in the Washington training end. He expressed the desire to have us continue our two full time instructor participation in the next (January) courses but it was agreed that he would give further thought to pushing the prospective USAF instructors somewhat more rapidly and depend ppon us for only one instructor, as had been previously agreed with Colonel Giblo. preparation.
