1. Sixteen people completed Reading Improvement Course #29 on
14 June 1956. Their average scores before and after the course in
the three reading skill areas are as follows:

2. Cable Reading Course No. 2 was completed 15 June1956 by seven
students from the Cable Secretariat and one student from Cable Branch,
LD,OCR. Their average thorough cable reading rate increased from 84
words per minute with 84% accuracy to 99 words per minute with 91%
accuracy. The average number of specifics located in two minutes from
cable material increased from 8 to 12.
